What is a World Expo?

These impressive global events usually take place every five years, and showcase the incredible achievements of international nations.

Expo 2020 Dubai is a six-month celebration of creativity, innovation, humanity and world cultures and welcomes everyone from artists and academics, to popstars, pioneers, tech ninjas and tomorrow’s leaders. It provides an ideal platform for the UK to collaborate and partner with other participating nations and create solutions to the global challenge’s society faces today.

The UK is one of 190 nations taking part in Expo 2020 Dubai and will be participating with the theme ‘Innovating for a Shared Future’. The UK Pavilion is the centrepiece of the UK Government’s presence, accompanied by a six-month content programme of events at the UK Pavilion and beyond.
